Welcome to Ballentine Elementary School, home of the Ballentine Bears! 

It’s an honor to serve as the Principal of Ballentine Elementary, where I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside this incredible school community for the past twenty years. My 30+ years in education include elementary, middle, and high school levels - all within District 5, and it has been a true privilege to call Ballentine Elementary home.

At BES, our motto “We are Ballentine!” and our theme “All In!” reflect our deep commitment to every child and family. This is a place where students thrive because of the strong partnership between home and school. Together, we’ve built a culture of excellence - one that celebrates individual strengths, values diversity, and sets high expectations for learning and growth. I’m so grateful to work alongside you in support of your children.

I am always excited about the opportunities that a new school year brings. Ballentine Elementary School Principal

 

This is my 11th year as an administrator at Ballentine. Prior to coming here, I taught students with exceptional needs in West Columbia and Weaverville, North Carolina.

At Ballentine, I have the privilege to be around an amazing group of students and staff everyday. It is my goal to do everything I possibly can to ensure that every student reaches their greatest potential.  Outside of school, I spend my time running, biking, or paddling the surrounding areas of the Midlands and beyond. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns or questions you should have throughout the school year.

 

 

I am so excited to be starting my 21st year in District Five!  This is my 5th year at the BESt school serving as the Administrative Assistant Principal. I am so excited to be part of the Ballentine Elementary family. 

Here at Ballentine, we have a loving culture where we help each and every student reach their full potential.  When not at school, I spend lots of time with my family. We spend our falls in the upstate cheering on the tigers and our spring traveling to cheer competitions around the south.  Please reach out to me at any time if there is anything that I can do for you or your family.  Here at Ballentine, we LOVE and Grow our students!
